Combining Royal casino offers

There are a lot of rules for combining Royal's casino comp offers. As a basic rule, you can combine your offer with someone else's under certain circumstances:

  • You have two similar offers: Both comps come from the same marketing offer series or were earned on the same cruise (instant rewards). You can also combine two annual tier cruise offers.
  • You have two comps for 1 guest or two comps for 2 guests
  • You have two similar offers with trade-in value

Combining Certificates — Comps for 2

Two players who have comp offers for 2 guests can combine for one-category upgrades (up to junior suite maximum) as long as the offers have matching certificate prefixes or are instant certificates earned on the same sailing.

Guarantee cabins combine in a similar manner, e.g., an oceanview guarantee combined with an interior guarantee gives you a balcony guarantee. If one of the offers you're combining is a guarantee, the resulting cabin will be a guarantee as well.

Combining Certificates — Comps for 1

Two players who have comp offers for 1 guest can combine for a full comp for 2 guests at the level of the lowest offer.

Guarantee cabins combine in a similar manner, e.g., an oceanview guarantee for 1 combined with an interior guarantee for 1 gives you an interior guarantee for 2. If one of the offers you're combining is a guarantee, the resulting cabin will be a guarantee as well.

Combining instant certificates

You can only combine instant certificates (earned by play onboard) if they were earned on the same sailing.

These certs are good for a comp cruise fare for 1 or 2 on selected sailings. For all other sailings within 1 year (sailings not on the list), they have a trade-in value.

You can only use the trade-in value if the sailing is not on the list for that instant cert. It can be combined with a cruise fare for 2 to pay for an upgrade either to a higher category cabin or to a cabin that includes 3rd/4th passengers.
